Centre Alexandrin d'Étude des Amphores - Recherche dans la base de données des matrices des timbres des éponymes rhodiens

According to the new system for the definition of matrices, the matrices of Rhodian eponym stamps are presented in alphabetical order with/without month names. As the beginning, matrices of some eponyms are introduced here. This will continue with the presentation of stamps of other Rhodian eponyms and fabricants including the stamps of varied production centers and also with the addition of newly found matrices into the matrix files of already given eponyms and fabricants.

NB The matrices presented here come from the Benaki Collection of the Graeco-Roman Museum of Alexandria, the excavations of the CEAlex in Alexandria, as well as from excavations led by Marie-Françoise Boussac at Taposiris Magna. They will ultimately be complemented by other matrices from other collections and museums (general collections of the Graeco-Roman Museum, excavations other than in Alexandria, articles and studies both published and unpublished etc.).

Les matrices présentées ici appartiennent à la collection Benaki du Musée gréco-romain d'Alexandrie, au fouilles du CEAlex à Alexandrie ainsi qu'aux fouilles du MAEE menées par Marie-Françoise Boussac à Taposiris Magna. Elles seront ensuite complétées par d'autres matrices provenant d'autres collections et musées (collection générale du Musée gréco-romain, fouilles ailleurs qu'à Alexandrie, matériel inédit et études publiées, etc.).

La recherche dans la base peut se faire sur le nom latin ou sur le nom grec de l'éponyme (introduire dans le champ de saisie une chaîne de caractères contenue dans le nom recherché - écrire en lettres majuscules)
