The formula for the automatic calculation of the volume of amphorae that you will find here was developed by Jean-Vianney Richard, Engineer Surveyor Topographer, during his stay in Alexandria in 1999. It is based on the exploratory work of Yves Rigoir *. It is free of rights and you can use it according to your needs.
